I was drawn into the show by its unconventional humor, unique story-telling and memorable characters. The comic timing of Steve Carell as Michael Scott and the romantic tension between Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) are some of the highlights of the show that kept me hooked. The show doesn't shy away from awkward humor, and that's what sets it apart.
However, I felt the later seasons, especially after Steve Carell's exit, lost a bit of the charm. Although the writers tried their best, the ensemble cast without its leading man was incomplete and the storyline started to drag. Still, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys character-driven humor and doesn't mind a cringe-worthy moment or two.
