It follows Nick Cave — musician, writer, and all-around enigmatic figure — over what is essentially a fictionalized day in his life, blending documentary and fantasy as he reflects on creativity, memory, and performance. It’s less about ticking off milestones and more about the feelings and obsessions that drive a person like Cave.
What really stood out to me is how intimate and beautifully shot it is. You get conversations between Cave and unexpected people (like Kylie Minogue and Blixa Bargeld) that feel raw and unrehearsed, plus a sense of the weird magic in the creative process.
